Job summary

VERSATEX Building Products is seeking an entry-level Material Handler in Aliquippa, PA. You will inspect, package, label, and move materials to Finished Goods, performing critical quality checks to 1/32" tolerance and aiding packaging and wrapping on the line.

You will operate forklifts per SOPs, participate in 5-S, and ensure timely QC checks before shipping to customers. This fast-paced warehouse role emphasizes accuracy and reliability.

Job description

Position Summary:

Ensure materials are safely inspected, packaged, labeled, and moved to the Finished Goods Area, meeting Versatex's quality standards. Safely operate forklifts per Versatex SOPs.

Shift:

Our shift for this role is Days 6:30pm-7:00am on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule. $22.23 Plus $1.50 differential

Company Information & Position Details

VERSATEX Building Products is a manufacturing plant located in Aliquippa. We manufacture vinyl trim and sheet which can be used on the exterior or interior of homes. The material can be from 8’ to 22’ long / from 2” wide boards up to 48” wide sheet. This is an ENTRY LEVEL position in our warehouse in Aliquippa, as a material handler, which is a very fast paced and labor intensive position. You would be working in production at the end of the line where you will perform crucial quality control measurements and visual checks ensuring material meets our standards to within 1/32nd of an inch. As the checks are completed for each drop you would be moving the products from the line onto the skid then moving the skid for packaging and wrapping. This position is highly important as you are the last eyes on the material – making critical checks before the product is shipped to our customers.

Physical Demands/Environment
