Tacheny is seeking a skilled window, door, and siding installer to join their expanding W2 crew in Minnesota. This full-time, hands-on position involves executing high-quality exterior remodeling projects and requires at least one year of construction experience.

The installer will work closely with lead installers and site supervisors while following safety protocols and ensuring projects meet Tacheny's standards. Ideal candidates should possess a strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction or exterior remodeling required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed.

We’re expanding our W2 crew and are looking for motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals who want to grow with a company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term success.

As a window, door and siding installer, you’ll play an integral role in executing high-quality exterior remodeling projects, including installations and repairs. You’ll work closely with a lead installer and site supervisor and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and up to Tacheny standards.

This is a hands‑on, full‑time position with opportunities for training, advancement, and year‑round employment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of roofing, siding, windows & doors, soffit & fascia, and decks
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and job site procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support quality control through proper installation techniques
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with crew leads and customers
• Participate in training and development sessions to grow technical skills
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

• 1+ year of experience in construction or exterior remodeling is required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
