You will review plans, perform takeoffs, prepare bids, and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors throughout the estimating process.

The role supports project teams from bid through handoff, with a focus on cost analysis, detail-oriented documentation, and identifying opportunities to optimize budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating is required.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to prepare estimates.
• Prepare accurate siding material and labor estimates for bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis to support proposals.
• Develop detailed project proposals and bid packages.
• Maintain estimating documentation and revisions as projects progress.
• Collaborate with project managers during bidding and handoff.
• Conduct site visits to verify project conditions when required.
• Support budgeting and scheduling efforts and monitor costs.
• Provide value engineering opportunities and risk identification.
• Solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors; evaluate quotations.
• Assist with contract review and documentation for handoffs.
