Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Edgewood Hospital.

The position is full-time with a 36-hour weekly schedule, night shift from 7P to 7A, and involves providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree from an accredited school, a compact license in their primary state of residence, and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team to achieve

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in primary state of residence.
• Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses.
• Education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in the assigned clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate respect, kindness, and empathy to patients and families.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in a SICU setting.
