UF Health Jacksonville is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients in a high-acuity ICU. You will collaborate with physicians, APs, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the nursing team to deliver evidence-based care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required.
• New hires must obtain a BSN within three years of hire or transfer.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within six months for SICU.
• PALS certification within six months for SICU.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, blood products, and specialized therapies.
• Operate and monitor advanced critical care equipment and technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery.
• Promote safety, quality, and compassionate care.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as Charge Nurse and provide leadership when assigned.
