Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients in the ICU/SICU environment. You will act as a charge nurse when required and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP where applicable, with a BSN aimed to be completed within three years of hire; 1–2 years ICU experience is preferred or completion of UF Health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required within three years of hire or transfer.
• Current Florida RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP as per unit specialty.
• UF Health Jacksonville Critical Care Fellowship or 1–2 years ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients.
• Perform staff nurse activities and assume charge nurse duties when assigned.
• Adhere to Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines and operate patient care equipment.
