The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Florence SICU is seeking an experienced nurse to join our Surgical ICU team. You will provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include leading assigned staff, coordinating care, and engaging in professional practice models and shared governance to promote a healthy work environment and ongoing professional growth.

Formación

• Current South Carolina or Compact State RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• SICU experience preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Direct and lead team members; collaborate with multidisciplinary staff for age-specific care.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and uphold patient privacy and professional behavior.
• Participate in shared governance, adhere to standards of care, and promote clinical excellence.
