Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a registered nurse to provide care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients under the Nurse Manager's direction. The RN will perform staff nurse duties and can serve as charge nurse when assigned.

Candidates must hold Florida license, have 1-2 years ICU experience or complete UF Health Jacksonville Critical Care Fellowship, and obtain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS/NRP) within specified timelines. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Meets Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines in patient care.
• Proficient with patient care equipment and nursing tech.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Florida (RN) and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
• Uphold professional nursing standards and participate in critical care teamwork.
