Job summary

The Queen's Health Systems seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Hawaii to join our hospital and clinics care team. The APP will diagnose, treat, prescribe, and assist in surgical/procedural care, collaborates with physicians, develops care protocols, and acts as a patient advocate to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.

Required: Hawaii State license as an APRN or PA in good standing, BLS, and credentialing/privileging readiness.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State license as an APRN or PA in good standing.
• APRN requires specialty board certification aligned with area.
• Prescriptive authority for non-controlled substances may be required.
• Credentialing and privileging required if providing medical care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two years nursing experience or APRN Fellowship for APRN position.
• One year of clinical APRN/PA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care including history, physical exams, diagnosis and management.
• Prescribe medications and perform or assist in procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement care plans and protocols.
• Participate in health promotion, disease prevention and patient education.
