Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Program Director for Sickle Cell Disease to join our faculty in North Carolina. A large startup package, $400,000, is offered to support the program, with potential to lead the Gene Therapy program as well.

In addition to clinical practice, the selected candidate will have robust opportunities for teaching and research at a premier NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for NC Medical License.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology.
  • Expertise in the treatment of patients with Sickle Cell Disease.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Sickle Cell Disease program; oversee clinical care, teaching, and research.
  • Partner with Hematology and oncology teams to advance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in program growth, faculty development, and community outreach.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a Program Director for Sickle Cell Disease to join our faculty. A large startup package, $400,000 is offered to support the program. There is also opportunity to lead the Gene Therapy program in Sickle Cell Disease with significant support.

In addition to clinical practice, the selected candidate will have robust opportunities for teaching and research at one of the fastest growing NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the country.
