Fellows gain extensive clinical training in the comprehensive management of sickle cell disease, with opportunities to conduct clinical research or quality improvement projects and to advance knowledge under expert guidance.

Qualifications

• Applicants completed ACGME–accredited residency or fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology.
• International applicants must be ECFMG certified and H1B eligible.
• Fellows gain extensive clinical training with mentorship in sickle cell disease.

Responsibilities

• Immersed in a multidisciplinary, multi‑institution clinical experience with educational conferences.
• Receive longitudinal mentorship and work on clinical research or a quality improvement project.
• Extensive clinical training in the comprehensive management of sickle cell disease.
• Collaborate with leaders in the field to further develop knowledge and skills.
