Job summary

Skyeguarding is seeking a security officer in the United States (Ohio) to provide on-site security across a defined geographical area. You will patrol premises, monitor CCTV, manage access for staff and visitors, and respond to alarms while performing safety checks.

Responsibilities include securing doors/windows, monitoring alarms, and coordinating with site teams. The role offers varied shifts (8/12 hours; day/night; weekdays/weekends) and supports permanent, temporary, or zero-hours contracts.

• Protect the customer’s employees, property, and other assets according to specific Assignment Instructions and site requirements.
• Patrol premises to secure doors, windows, and entrances.
• Monitor CCTV primarily from an office setting.
• Manage building access control for staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct security patrols and perform Health & Safety checks.
• Monitor Fire, Security, and Intruder Alarms.
• Activate and deactivate alarms, and lock and unlock buildings, rooms, barriers, and gates to ensure no unauthorized access or hazards are present.
• Undertake a range of administrative tasks.
