Summary

Prepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging and repair as required.

Responsibilities
  • Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
  • Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
  • Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
  • Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
  • Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
  • May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
  • Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
  • Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and links subassemblies to final unit
  • Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
  • All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds, customer satisfaction
  • Disassemble, repair and reassemble units in certified repair operations
  • Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under minimal supervision
Qualifications and Other Information
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of SI experience
  • Ability to perform repair or test; Some heavy mechanical assembly
  • Demonstrate good component recognition skills
  • Understanding of basic computer skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail
  • Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company
  • Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work with diverse groups
  • Participate in a continuous improvement activity
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math
  • Benchmark considers this a safety-sensitive position

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range: $19.50 to $22 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.

Benefits and Other Compensation: Benchmark provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a Bonus Plan, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, all based on scheduled hours. Benchmark complies with applicable state and local employee leave laws.
