Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Rochester, MN is hiring for a safety-sensitive manufacturing/assembly position. You will prepare products for systems level assembly, unpacking, setup, final packaging, and repair as required.

You will access paperwork and drawings, verify kits, enter batch data, label items, and use required tooling. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Accesses paperwork and drawings for each job assignment
  • Verifies kits, enters batch lot information, and labels items
  • Uses mats and required tooling per instructions
  • Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers) for proper performance
  • Uses routings and process instructions under close supervision
  • May assemble various systems integration subassemblies
  • Notifies leadership of any shutdown situations
  • Enters data into PFS and links subassemblies to final unit
  • Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan)
  • All employees ensure quality to meet customer satisfaction
  • Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
  • Build subassemblies and apply labels per instructions
  • Perform hand soldering and inspection per instructions
  • Perform F-cert to ensure final units pass all operations
  • Perform final unit inspection and clean as needed
  • Add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels as required
  • May assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype builds

Summary
