Job summary

Beacon Hill Hospitality is seeking a Lead Shuttle Driver to supervise shuttle operations at a busy healthcare facility. The role blends hands-on driving with team leadership to ensure on-time, safe, and welcoming transportation for employees.

Lead responsibilities include coordinating schedules, maintaining route adherence, participating in hiring when required, and fostering teamwork to achieve service excellence. A strong customer service mindset and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Experience driving a shuttle or similar vehicle preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be at least 23 years old for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

Supervise shuttle bus drivers to ensure policy compliance and safe operations.
Monitor drivers’ productivity and adherence to routes.
Direct maintenance for shuttles with reported issues.
Assist with safety training programs for the team.
Document accidents/safety events and coordinate with Account Manager to improve safety.
Ensure all shuttles follow scheduled or requested routes and unscheduled pickups/drop-offs.
Operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with Supervisor to manage team schedules and rotations.
Provide or arrange shift coverage for last-minute changes.
Ensure staff coverage for all shifts, including weekends.
