Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport general commodities between warehouses. The role requires commitment to on-time deliveries and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations.

This position involves substantial travel (about 75%) and the ability to shuttle trailers between facilities, follow safety protocols, and maintain required logs and inspections. Kenco values safety, integrity and continuous improvement in its team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Class A tractor trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL required.
• Pass Background and Drug Screening.
• Meet FMCSA and company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety first and foremost.
• Deliver freight within scheduled routes.
• Shuttle trailers between manufacturing facilities and distribution warehouses.
• Assists with loading/unloading.
• Must tailgate freight off trailer onto customer’s dock.
• Maintains driver’s daily logs, trip reports and other documents as required.
• Perform a full pre-trip and post-trip inspection on tractor-trailer.
• Keeps equipment fueled.
• Required to follow company policy, participate in required trainings and keep truck clean.
• Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment.
• Maintain professional conduct and attitude towards other motorists who share the highway.
• Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations and follow state laws.
• Perform any other reasonable request as directed by management.
