The Parking Spot is hiring Part-Time Shuttle Drivers for All Shifts in Windsor Locks, CT. A Passenger Endorsement is required. The role involves safe transport of up to 15 passengers between the TPS parking locations and the airport, assisting with luggage and delivering friendly, reliable service.

Earn $16.94 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for bonuses and participation in our employee ownership program. Regular weekly pay and benefits eligibility for qualified employees are also offered.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Currently holds or able to obtain a Passenger Endorsement to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Clean driving record as per company policy.
• Able to read, speak and understand English sufficiently to interact with customers and complete reports.

Pay Rate:$16.94 per hour (plus tips - cash and mobile) with regular bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities of Shuttle Drivers:

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
• Perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
• Provide pleasant customer service
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
• Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
• May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
• Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience of Shuttle Drivers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
• Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Currently holds, or is able to obtain, a Passenger Endorsement and any applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
• Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
• Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation
