Job summary

Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport is seeking a part-time van driver to shuttle guests to and from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. You will drive safely according to the schedule, assist with luggage, and provide attentive, courteous service to guests.

A High School diploma is required, a valid driver's license is essential, and a CDL is needed if driving larger vehicles. A clean driving record is required, and excellent communication helps you thrive in a hospitality team.

Qualifications

• CDL if driving vehicles larger than 15 passengers.
• Must not have any moving violations on driving record.

Requirements

What we are looking for

• High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Must have a CDL if driving vehicles larger than 15 passengers.
• Must not have any moving violations on driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting (6-8 hours a day)
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
• Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
