Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Night Shuttle Driver to move double trailers between the Grand Rapids distribution center and drop yards in Michigan/Indiana, returning to Grand Rapids. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement and a clean driving record.

Shifts run Sunday–Thursday, starting at 8 PM and ending around 6 AM. Training is paid, with a component pay structure after training; first-year earnings commonly range from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• 1 year of experience preferred or new CDL-A candidates considered.
• Meet all DOT requirements and have valid CDL-A.
• Doubles Endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely deliveries of double trailers to and from Grand Rapids Distribution Center.
• Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
• Comply with FMCSA hours of service and DOT regulations.
• Maintain company safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Night Shuttle Driver. This role shuttles loaded double trailers from our Grand Rapids Distribution center to one of our drop yards in Michigan and or Indiana, then back to Grand Rapids.

Schedule

Night Shift that Departs from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sunday- Thursday- Start time 8pm, typical end time 6:00am

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,450 and $1,650 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

About the Job:

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• 1 year of experience preferred. May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
• Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
• Doubles Endorsement is required.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
• Background check free from felonies.
