Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Las Vegas to transport owners and guests along scheduled routes while upholding resort standards. You will greet guests, assist with boarding, and ensure safe operation of a passenger vehicle throughout shifts.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean record, two years of driving experience, and strong customer service. A background check and drug test are required, with an adjusted schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Two years driving experience in passenger vehicles or shuttles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Proficiency with basic computer apps (MS Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Follow scheduled routes and assist with unscheduled requests as needed.
  • Assist passengers with boarding/exiting and loading luggage.
  • Coordinate via two-way radio and report incidents to management.
  • Provide information about local entertainment and attractions.

How You'll Shine:

The Recreation Department Shuttle Driver will operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently. (NON CDL )The primary purpose of this position is to safely transport owners and guests to specific regularly scheduled routes. This position will promote Resort Standards and effectively provide services personally or refer requests to the appropriate department manager as needed to exceed guest expectations.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Greet guests and operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Responsible for following specific regularly scheduled routes, charter routes or responds to requests from management for unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
  • Assists passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle.
  • Loads and unloads luggage, packages and other items.
  • Transmits and receives over two-way radio system.
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies management of potential problems.
  • Reports accidents or other safety situations to management.
  • Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift.
  • Learn and provide guests and passengers with appropriate information regarding entertainment and attractions within service area.
  • May also assist with the scheduled daily activities at the resort in the absence of shuttle sign ups.
What You'll Bring:
  • Must have a valid state driver's license in the state you are applying with a proven clean driving record.
  • Two year driving experience in passenger vehicles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to give high priority to customer service.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
  • State driver's license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • A Driver Record Report, background check and Drug test will be mandatory for this position.
