Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Jessup, PA is seeking a CDL Class A Shuttle Driver to deliver merchandise to service centers across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role emphasizes safe driving, adherence to DOT standards, and delivering on the company’s promises to customers and colleagues.

You will operate company vehicles, maintain logs, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and report maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years driving experience preferred.
• CDL Class A required upon hire.
• Must meet DOT requirements including MVR review, pre-employment physical, and drug test.

Job Summary

The CDL Class A Shuttle Driver delivers our merchandise to our service centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. The CDL Class A Shuttle Driver must consistently demonstrate a commitment to safe driving practices and uphold all Company policies and DOT standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and on-time delivery of our merchandise to our service centers using company vehicles.
• Demonstrates a commitment to safe driving practices and upholds all company and DOT standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and ensures proper working condition and/or notifies the supervisor of any needed maintenance or repairs.
• Completes any reports or logs.

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience Qualifications

1-3 years previous driving experience preferre

Skills and Abilities

• Able to meet all DOT requirements including a review of motor vehicle record, pre-employment physical, and drug test
• Proven record of safe driving in a similar position
• Must have a highly reliable work performance record
• Able to work independently

Licenses and Certifications

• CDL - Group A - Commercial Drivers License Upon Hire required
• Must be at least 22 years of age with a valid driver’s license and demonstrated safe driving record as shown on MVR. Upon Hire required

$26 - $26 an hour
