Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Shuttle Driver to enhance guest experiences from arrival through checkout. You will assist with luggage, operate vans on property routes, and serve as a welcoming ambassador at the entrance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 21+ years old, and the ability to lift heavy baggage in all weather conditions. Strong knowledge of the Las Vegas area is a plus, and multilingual abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and 3+ years driving passenger vehicles.
• Ability to lift luggage 50–75 lbs and carry it up three flights of stairs.
• Knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions.
• Ability to communicate with guests; multilingual skills a plus.
• Outdoor work in sometimes extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage in and out of vehicles.
• Operate transportation vans along property routes and ensure guest safety.
• Bell services duties including luggage storage and traffic direction at porte cochere.
• Welcome guests at the entrance, provide information, and call taxis or other transport.
• Assist engineering with vehicle maintenance and report major needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

• The Shuttle Driver is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage in and out of vehicles, including but not limited to taxis, limos, cars, vans, property shuttles, and lifting upwards of 75lbs. This includes storing luggage and carrying luggage up to three flights of stairs to our third-floor villas.
• The Shuttle Driver will operate transportation vans to maintain specific transportation routes throughout the property, maintaining the safety of our guests and owners at all times. This includes assisting guests in and out of the vehicles.
• Assist our guests and owners with all luggage and provide bell services to the units, including storage and transport of luggage and any other items as needed. He/she will also direct the traffic in the Porte Cochere area, keeping the traffic lanes from getting gridlocked.
• Be responsible for Bellperson duties and will cover the entrance area podium and serve as an ambassador of goodwill by pleasantly welcoming all of our guests, providing information, summoning taxi or other transportation as needed, and keeping the immediate area clean of all trash and debris.
• Will also maintain the cleanliness of the vans and assist the engineering team in periodic general maintenance of all vehicles, and report any major maintenance needs to engineering as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Previous van or bus driving and/or bell person experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

• A valid driver’s license is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a current driver's license. Team members must have a driver's license for at least three (3) years prior to being permitted to operate any Company Vehicle that involves transporting passengers (including guests, visitors, or owners), or any commercial vehicle.
• Must meet the company's required motor vehicle policy standards.
• Must have a good knowledge of the Las Vegas area and the attractions and activities that occur.
• Must have good verbal skills and the ability to communicate with the guests and owners.
• The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift luggage 50-75 lbs up 3 flights of stairs.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs to the third floor while carrying guests’ luggage.
• Must feel comfortable working outdoors in sometimes extreme temperatures.
