Job description

Position Description

This position is responsible for shuttling loads between company facilities in support of production. The role requires operating commercial vehicles such as terminal tractors ("yard goats") and heavy‑duty day‑cab trucks.

Shift & Hours

Night shift; 12 hours per day on a 2/2/3 schedule. Full‑time, regular.

Location

DrinkPAK headquarters, Santa Clarita, California.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with state and federal motor vehicle rules and company policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections at the start and end of each shift.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and yard control audits.
• Load and secure freight, ensuring proper segregation of hazardous materials and placement of placards.
• Use yard management system to track vehicle movements.
• Review bills of lading for accuracy.
• Communicate with production, warehouse, and batching supervisors to support production runs.
• Identify and report quality issues with finished goods and raw materials.
• Ensure attendance is regular and predictable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (2+ years preferred).

Compensation

Base hourly rate: $30.00 per hour with an additional $2.00 per hour night‑shift differential.

Working Conditions
