Job summary

ABM is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport passengers to and from designated locations, including airports, hospitals, arenas, and campuses. You will load/unload safely, assist with luggage, and provide friendly customer service.

Shift: Monday–Thursday 6am–1pm and Friday 1pm–8pm. Must be 21+, hold a NON-CDL/CDL license, and at least 1 year of shuttle driving experience preferred. ABM is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• One year of prior work experience as passenger shuttle driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload passengers at designated locations.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading and assist with wheelchair lifts and tie‑downs as needed.
• Help passengers load and unload luggage.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Meet patrons needing assistance at airport locations and lots.
• Inspect shuttle for preexisting damage and record information.
• Provide excellent customer service and directions to nearest highway or destination.
• Maintain bus evacuation plan and coordinate evacuation activities as appropriate.
• Report incidents to Operations Manager or Shift Lead immediately.
• Refuel and log fuel use; maintain cleanliness of shuttle.
• Perform pre- and post-inspection to ensure proper operating conditions and safety compliance.

Job description

The Shuttle Driver drives passengers to and from assigned locations. Depending on the contractual need this could be around or near an airport, commercial building, hospital, sports arena, entertainment venue, educational facility or warehouse.

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr.

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift- Monday - Thursday 6am - 1pm and Friday 1pm-8pm.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs (i.e wheelchair lifts and tie‑downs)
• Help passengers to load and unload luggage as needed
• Inspect vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues; perform routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities
• Meet patrons needing assistance to and from various airport locations and lots
• Inspect shuttle for preexisting damage record information using electronic device or manual ticket
• Provide excellent customer service to guests; respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner, give directions to nearest highway, destination, etc.
• Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinates bus evacuation activities as appropriate
• Immediately reports any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logs
• Maintain a clean work environment, disinfecting shuttle after each use
• Performs pre‑inspection and post‑inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards
