Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is seeking a driver to shuttle products between locations, potentially crossing state lines, and ensure proper shipping and safe operation of commercial vehicles.

Qualifications include at least two years of truck driving, a valid CDL Class C, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical certification. The role requires physical capability to move heavy carts and a high-energy, communicative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Scan packages at shipping sites and ensure proper shipping.
• Load and unload sheet carts during delivery and pickup.
• Comply with safety policies and vehicle operation guidelines.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager and Supervisors to meet product needs.
• Unload clean and reload soiled linens onto the truck (approx. 20 carts).
• Decontaminate truck.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will be responsible for shuttling ImageFIRST products between locations with the potential of crossing state lines.

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Scan packages at shipping sites and ensure proper shipping
• Load and unload sheet carts during delivery and pick up
• Comply with company safety policies and guidelines relating to safety andoperation of commercial motor vehicles and overall safe work practices
• Work closely with Plant Manager and Production Supervisors to ensureproduct needs are met
• Unload clean and reload soiled linens onto the truck in [insert state] (approximately 20 carts)
• Decontaminate truck

Schedule:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least two years of truck driving experience
• Must possess Driver’s License (Class C)
• Clean Driving Record
• Must possess a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) medical certification or obtain one within a designated timeframe.
• Able to push, pull 15-20 sheet carts 2 x a day. Sheet carts weigh anywaybetween 300lbs and 600lbs
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Candidate must possess a high energy attitude with excellent communicationand interpersonal skills
