Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa in Bedford, PA is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport guests to destinations safely and on time while delivering warm, personalized service. You will greet guests, assist with boarding, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and follow safety procedures to uphold our 4-Star/4-Diamond standards.

Requirements include a valid State CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, clean MVR, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid State Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit/stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive Shuttle bus vehicle to and from designated destinations in a timely manner.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuvering the vehicle in varying conditions.
• Greet guests and provide on-boarding assistance.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance and services rendered.
• Run shuttle to transport associates/guests between hotel and airport.
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy.
• Understand all emergency procedures and hotel amenities.

Overview

Become a Shuttle Driver and provide exceptional transportation services by driving guests to designated destinations in a timely and safe manner. With commercial driving expertise, greet guests warmly, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure adherence to safety protocols, contributing to a memorable guest experience. Additionally, assist with front entrance upkeep, emergency procedures, and familiarity with hotel amenities to uphold high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive Shuttle bus vehicle to and from designated destinations in a timely manner
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as inclement weather and heavy traffic
• Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance
• Ensure cleanliness of town car vehicle; including interior and exterior
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance
• Report any safety concern immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of services rendered
• Create memorable experience during transportation service
• Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service.
• Run shuttle to transport associates'/guests safely between the hotel and airport.
• Accept other special duties as requested by management.
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy
• Understand all emergency procedures
• Understand all amenities and services offered at the Hotel and local area
• Understand all Moments of Service scenarios

Qualifications

• Valid applicable State Commercial Driver's License required, passenger endorsement strongly preferred.
