Job summary

The Parking Spot is hiring professional Shuttle Drivers (Non-CDL) in Aurora, CO. You will transport up to 15 passengers between TPS facilities and the airport, conduct pre/post-trip checks, greet customers, and provide friendly, safe service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record per Handbook and regulations.
• Holds applicable licenses/badges to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Willing to pass a physical as required by airport/DOT/state regulations.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English for safety and records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for luggage assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminals and TPS locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Greet customers with a smile and assist with luggage as needed.
• Provide pleasant customer service and helpful information.
• Demonstrate knowledge of facility and airport terminals.
• Cooperate with team members to deliver the best possible service.
• May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management.
• Comply with all regulations governing operation of commercial vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Our professional Shuttle Drivers (Non-CDL) play an important role in our operation in providing safe and courteous transportation of customers between the parking facility and airport.

Pay Rate: $19.29 per hour (plus tips - cash and mobile) with regular bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities of Shuttle Drivers:

• Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
• Perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
• Provide pleasant customer service
• Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
• Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
• May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
• Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience of Shuttle Drivers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
• Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Currently holds the applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
• Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
• Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation
