Part Time: Monday - Thursday 9-4, varying hours

$16/hour

As a Shuttle Driver, you will provide transportation services for the senior residents in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. You will take on a rewarding position with an innovative company where hard work pays off and advancement is always a possibility. A primary responsibility will be assisting our life enrichment team with daily events and activities.

Required Experience for Shuttle Driver

• 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle
• Chauffeur's License; must have a clean driving record
• Compassionate & Care for seniors. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping and working with the senior population
• Ability to be timely, patient, and accommodating; familiar with the local area and able to maintain a bus schedule
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and ability to enjoy work while providing excellent service

Primary Responsibilities for Shuttle Driver

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus using appropriate and safe methods, including lifts and physical transfers
• Complete bus trip logs and route efficiently and safely
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior
• Fill out daily inspection logs at the start of each trip
• Support team performance with a positive attitude

Working Conditions

This position requires standing for long periods, effective communication, and the ability to sit, stand, walk, and handle equipment. Occasionally, lifting up to 25 pounds is necessary. The environment involves moderate noise and potential travel to different locations.
