Job summary

Charger logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join our Moreno Valley, CA team as a yard/shunt operator.

This full-time role involves moving trailers within the yard, adhering to safety rules, and coordinating with shipping personnel to keep loads moving efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of yard trucking experience, maintain a good driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move/shift company trailers within a defined area.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Follow safe/defensive driving methods.
• Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard.
• Communicate with shipping personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers.
• Report any issues or damages to trailers.
• Trailer wash & tire repair would be part of the role with minimal repairs.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment and staying longer than the usual shift hours depending on operational needs and package shipment volume.

• Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard
• Communicate with shipping personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers
• Report any issues or damages to trailers
