Job summary

Gabby and Summer Classics in Chestnut Hill, PA is seeking a Part-Time Showroom Stock Associate to help prepare products for the showroom floor, assist customers, and support Design Consultants on the floor. This hands-on role requires lifting heavy items, attention to detail, and the ability to move furniture during floor sets.

You will receive deliveries, tag stock, and ensure merchandise is presentable. The position offers a supportive team, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Some experience in warehouse or furniture operations and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent attendance and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items (furniture) unassisted and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using iPads and proficient in basic computer programs like Outlook and Excel.
• Availability to work assigned hours, including frequent weekends and special events.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with loading vehicles for customer pick-ups at the store.
• Hang chandeliers, artwork, and mirrors.
• Move furniture during floor sets.
• Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Tag floor stock to meet brand standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is assembled and in excellent condition before placement.
• Complete stock orders within three days, received, tagged, and placed on the floor.
• Assist with merchandise returns and report any quality issues to store management.
• Perform various housekeeping or light maintenance tasks.
