Sea Fox Boat Company in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Boat Detailer to ensure every vessel leaves the facility showroom-clean and inspection-ready. You will detail exteriors and interiors, buff fiberglass, and apply protective coatings.

This full-time role reports to the Production Supervisor, offers hourly pay between $18 and $22 DOE, and requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and physical stamina for lifting and standing during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of fiberglass, vinyl, plastic, and metal detailing.
• Familiarity with marine detailing compounds and cleaners.
• Good eye for detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with a team.
• Physically capable of bending, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail boat exteriors and interiors.
• Buff, polish, and wax fiberglass surfaces to remove imperfections.
• Remove dust, overspray, and protective coverings from production.
• Wipe and sanitize interior areas including seating and helm.
• Clean stainless steel, chrome, and aluminum fixtures to a high shine.
• Apply protective coatings and UV protectants as needed.
• Inspect boats for cosmetic flaws and report defects to supervisors.
• Maintain detailing area cleanliness and safely handle chemicals.
