Job summary

Bowser Collision Center in Monroeville is seeking a full-time Body Shop Detailer to assist the Body Shop Refinish Technician in preparing vehicles and parts for painting. The role focuses on achieving a showroom appearance for vehicles returned to customers and supporting the Body Shop team.

Responsibilities include washing, vacuuming, and helping with disassembly/assembly of parts for painting, plus meticulous sanding, masking, cleaning and priming for paint.

Responsibilities

• Wash and vacuum vehicles for customers ensuring showroom quality.
• Disassemble and assemble parts for painting (eg bumpers, trim, chrome, accessories).
• Sand, mask, clean and prime cars in preparation for paint with attention to detail.
• Follow written work orders with clarity.
• Work independently or under supervision as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Remove debris and damaged parts for disposal.
• Ensure warranty parts are returned to the Parts Department.
• Drive customers to work and home as necessary.
• Follow federal, state and local regulations governing hazardous waste handling and disposal.
