Job summary

Feldman Automotive in Lansing, MI is seeking an Automotive Detailer to ensure every vehicle is cleaned, polished, and presentation-ready before delivery. You will work in a fast-paced dealership environment, taking pride in your workmanship and reliability.

Responsibilities include detailing interiors and exteriors, washing, waxing, vacuuming, inspecting for damage, and maintaining the detail bay. Training is available for the right candidate with opportunities for growth within the dealership.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces, to dealership standards.
• Wash, wax, vacuum, shampoo, and polish vehicles for showroom and customer delivery presentation.
• Inspect vehicles for damage, imperfections, or areas requiring additional attention.
• Operate detailing equipment and utilize proper cleaning products safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail department, wash bay, and equipment areas.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding vehicle status and priorities.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Continuously improve detailing techniques and stay current with industry best practices.
