Job summary

Bowser Collision Center in Monroeville is seeking a full time Body Shop Detailer to assist the Body Shop Refinish Technician in preparing vehicles and parts for painting, ensuring every vehicle returned to a customer has a showroom quality appearance.

The Detailer will support the Body Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with miscellaneous duties to streamline the work of the technicians and to help maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and vacuum vehicles for showroom quality.
• Disassemble and assemble parts for painting (bumper, trim, chrome, accessories).
• Sand, mask, clean and prime cars in preparation for paint with attention to detail.
• Follow written work orders accurately.
• Work independently or under supervision.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Remove debris and damaged parts for disposal.
• Ensure warranty parts are returned to the Parts Department.
• Assist in driving customers to work and home as necessary.
• Follow hazardous waste regulations.
