Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete, accurate records of press samples using sample management systems (Launchmetrics/Fashion GPS) and Excel.
  • Receive, register, tag, and photograph new collection samples each season.
  • Conduct inventory audits and reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain the press showroom and stockroom to company standards.
  • Process incoming sample requests and prepare, pack, and dispatch send-outs with documentation, insurance, and customs paperwork.
  • Track outgoing loans, monitor return deadlines, chase overdue items, and send/track credit requests.
  • Perform condition checks on returning samples, flag damage, coordinate repairs, and manage follow-up.
  • Manage and oversee freelancers, delegating tasks and ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Support shoot productions, press days, showroom appointments, and end-of-season processes.

Summary

The Showroom Manager supports the Press & Influence team by overseeing sample trafficking, inventory control, and logistics for press samples across categories. This role maintains accurate records, conducts regular audits and cycle counts, and ensures a highly organized press showroom and stockroom. The position manages a small team of freelancers and coordinates cross-functionally on sample allocation, shipments, and event support.

  • Discretion and comfort working with high-value products and confidential collections
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle physical demands of stockroom work (lifting, packing, standing)
