Job summary

Finetco in West Haven, CT is seeking an experienced Counter Sales Associate to join our full-time team. You will greet customers, guide them through the showroom, process orders, and ensure homeowners and contractors obtain the correct materials.

The role requires building material sales and customer service experience, knowledge of inventory, and teamwork with inside and outside sales staff. We offer a schedule Monday–Friday 7 AM–4 PM, Saturdays 7 AM–12 PM, PTO, health and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• Experience in building material sales and customer service.
• Familiarity with showroom operations and order processing.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in-store and via phone.
• Guide customers through showroom, assist with product selection.
• Ensure customers obtain correct materials for homeowners and contractors.
• Collaborate with inside/outside sales and design staff.
• Demonstrate thorough product knowledge.
