Job summary

Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses is seeking a responsible Housekeeping Associate to keep showrooms pristine, safe, and guest-ready. The role focuses on cleaning floors, surfaces, and fixtures while maintaining restrooms and common areas; prior experience is not required but attention to detail is essential.

You will contribute to a courteous, well-organized shopping experience for customers and colleagues. Hours are hourly, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Attention to detail and appearance.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently; follow directions.
• Knowledge of cleaning products to use on different surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of showroom floors and other areas (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting).
• Clean windows, doors, glass, and fixtures; manage trash disposal.
• Maintain sanitary restrooms and breakrooms; replenish supplies.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards; report maintenance issues to management.
• Post safety signs and assist with security as needed.
• Support training and onboarding of new associates.
