Job summary

Godby Hearth & Home is seeking a full-time Installer to join a close-knit team in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers year-round work with strong benefits and possible overtime during the busy season.

Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend overtime. You'll install custom shower glass, mirrors, and door hardware, read blueprints, and follow OSHA guidelines while using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Entry-level welcome—we'll train you in custom glass and shower door work.
• Prior construction, install, or skilled-trade experience is a plus, not a must.
• Able to read construction blueprints or learn to read them.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable team player who takes ownership and is accountable.

Responsibilities

• Install custom shower glass, mirrors, and door hardware in new and existing homes.
• Troubleshoot and repair shower door enclosures.
• Install bathroom fixtures and hardware.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and documentation.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Use hand and power tools proficiently.
• Lift up to 75 lbs on your own, and 200+ lbs with a team.
