Job summary

Mountain City Rehab Center in Frostburg, Maryland seeks a compassionate Shower Aide (CNA1/GNA) to join our care team. This full-time role focuses on residents' personal hygiene, comfort and well-being, with competitive compensation and strong benefit packages.

You'll provide bath/shower care for 9–10 residents per shift, document care thoroughly, assist with dining, transfers and infection control, and maintain a clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA-1 (GNA) license required.
• Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
• Up-to-date identification.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide bath/shower care to 9-10 residents per shift, including shaving and nail care.
• Complete skin sheets on showers and report changes in skin conditions.
• Document care provided accurately and thoroughly.
• Pass ice and water as needed.
• Assist with serving and feeding residents in the dining room.
• Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchairs.
• Complete other CNA duties as needed, including answering call bells.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment with infection control protocols.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shower Aide (CNA1 (GNA)) to join our team at Mountain City Rehab Center in Frostburg, Maryland. As a Shower Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, focusing on their personal hygiene, comfort, and well-being. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation and great benefit packages.

Responsibilities:

• Provide bath/shower care to at least 9-10 residents in the 8-hour shift, including shaving, nail care, and skin integrity checks

• Complete skin sheets on showers completed and report any changes in skin conditions requiring treatment

• Document care provided accurately and thoroughly

• Pass ice and water, as needed

• Assist with serving and feeding residents in the dining room during mealtimes

• Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchairs

• Complete other CNA duties as needed, including answering call bells

• Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• CNA-1 (GNA) License
