Job summary

Simpson Place in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shower Aide (CNA) to join our team. This role provides personal care to residents, assists the charge nurse, and supports a multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must hold State CNA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observation and safety awareness in resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures safety and comfort.
• Promote and support residents' independence.
• Inform supervising charge nurse of resident status at shift start and end.
• Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions to care plans.
• Assist in implementing care plans under policy.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions; document observations as required.
• Ensure safe lifting and/or transfers per procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Assist with incidental housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
