Job summary

Six Flags in Vallejo is seeking energetic performers to entertain Guests and maintain safety during events. You will interact with Guests, manage crowds, and perform at stadiums, venues, and backstage areas, including private events.

Ideal candidates speak confidently before large crowds, improvise with licensed characters, and communicate well with teams. Must be at least 16, capable of standing for long periods, and able to handle heat and outdoor conditions.

• Maintain and clean Stadiums, Show Venues and Backstage areas.

• Ensure that safety of Guests, animals and performers are maintained.

• Maintaining “show illusion” and belief of character at all times for our Guests.

Qualifications:

• The skills to improvise interactions with Guests and licensed characters is applicable

• The ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal communication

• Must be at least 16 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping,feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near/far, stooping,bending, kneeling

• Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity and temperature change

• Must be able to carry 5 to 10 lbs

• All lifts over 51 lbs. require help from a coworker or mechanical device

• Overtime of adults may be required from time to time to accommodate the business need
