Job summary

Stanford University’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a board certified/eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow to join as Assistant Professor on the University Medical Line. The successful candidate will provide surgical and non-surgical care, teach residents and fellows, and pursue scholarly work in shoulder/elbow medicine.

The position requires a California Medical License eligibility, a shoulder and elbow fellowship, and a demonstrated teaching/scholarly track

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Completed shoulder and elbow fellowship.
• Eligible for California Medical License.
• Doctorate degree required.
• Commitment to teaching and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Produce scholarly work in major areas of interest.
