Short-term Occupational Therapist - West Hartford, CT

School-Based Occupational Therapist
3 days per week

Soliant Health is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist for a short-term assignment in West Hartford starting ASAP and running through the end of the school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapist to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' functional abilities
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students with various disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure progress
• Monitor and track student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
• Attend meetings and contribute to student planning and reviews

Qualifications:

• Valid CT state Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for helping children succeed and thrive
