Smart Sitters in Greenwich, CT is seeking a temporary live-out babysitter to care for two active boys across most of August. You will plan engaging activities, supervise pool time, and ensure safety while providing meals and snacks.

The role requires driving, swimming ability, and flexibility with hours from about 9/10 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend help. Pay is $40/hour with gas reimbursement for the August period.

Would you dream of escaping the city heat this August and spending your days in Greenwich, CT? Do you love coming up with fun activities to keep two active kids busy and having a blast? Do you drive? Apply today! This lovely returning family is looking for help in Greenwich, CT, this August. The ideal candidate will be live-out, and is a reasonable drive away from Greenwich. They are an international family who visits the area each summer; they had a great experience with last year's Smart Sitters, and they're looking forward to finding their next great sitter for this one. From approximately August 4 until 28, they are looking to get as much help as possible during the day. While ideally, they'd love full care between 9 A.M. and 6 P.M., they can also be flexible with the schedule if needed. They are open to help on any day of the week, but are especially looking for care Monday - Friday. Due to their location, someone who drives and has access to a car for commuting over to them is ideal (even likely required). The ability to swim is also required. They are willing to offer $40/hour plus gas reimbursement.### The Ideal Candidate for this JobThe ideal sitter for this role is fun and active! You can keep up with two young boys, and the idea of creating an activity-filled summer vacation for them is super exciting to you. Someone who drives and has access to a car for commuting over to them is ideal (likely required), and gas will be reimbursed. You will also be supervising swimming (the house has a pool!) so the sitter will need to be able to swim, even just in case of emergency.### ScheduleThey are looking for as much care as they can get!Monday - Friday9 A.M. or 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.But they'd also love help on the weekends as well for the same hours.If you can only do some of the days/weeks, or just weekends, please still apply and let us know what you can do.### About the ChildrenBoy, 9Boy, 6They are sweet boys! They have a lot of energy and sometimes require redirection, so someone experienced with elementary-aged kids will be very useful for them.### ResponsibilitiesYou'll be with them for their summer vacation days! You'll plan fun activities to do with them (like supervising swimming), make sure they're set with meals and snacks, and overall keep them engaged and safe. The ability to drive is required, and it's possible you could be asked to drive the children in the family's car to fun activities.
