Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in the Chicagoland area is hiring a Short-Haul Driver for a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Valid CDL with HazMat endorsement is required, with up to 90 days to obtain.

Candidates should have at least one year of Class A tractor/trailer on-road driving experience (or comparable), and no recent major driving violations. Ace offers extensive benefits and opportunities across its 15 distribution centers.

Short-Haul Driver – Chicagoland Area
Monday- Friday 6am- 2:30pm

Eligibility and Requirements

• Valid CDL with hazardous material endorsement (or 90 days to obtain)
• Minimum of 1-year Class A tractor/trailer on-road driving experience (or comparable experience)
• No suspensions/revocations or convictions of reckless driving in the past 3 years, or DUI/DWI in the past 5 years

• Weekly Pay (Additional pay for store deliveries, sleeper berths, backhauls, training) Paid Time Off Programs (incl. vacation, paid sick time, holiday pay).
