Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a licensed Tank Barge PIC to serve in our nation’s maritime shipping sector. This role requires a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC endorsement and on-site work in the United States.

You must hold a current MMC, TWIC, a valid driver's license, and have fluent English. One year of Tank Barge PIC experience is preferred; expect drug screening, background checks and adherence to PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC endorsement.
• Must have a current TWIC card and valid driver's license.
• One year of Tank Barge PIC experience preferred.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass medical exams as required.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Operate as Tank Barge PIC in alignment with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to procedures and maintain on-site attendance and punctuality.
• Coordinate with team to ensure safe and efficient tank vessel operations.

Job Requirements:

• Must hold a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC (DL) Endorsement
• Must have a current TWIC card and valid driver's license (reliable transportation and telephone)
• One year of experience as a Tank Barge PIC preferred
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
