Job summary

United Petroleum Transports is seeking a Technician in the Operations department at the CSC location. You will promote safety, prepare repair orders, and work in the shop or on road calls without supervision.

Responsibilities include complying with DOT regulations, maintaining records, and communicating with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations. A high school diploma is required, with ASE brake certification encouraged within 180 days.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Must obtain ASE Brake certification within the first 180 days of employment.
• Meet FMCSA and safety standards for vehicle inspections and brake maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate tractor/trailer within terminal premises.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety in all actions and maintain a safe shop.
• Prepare repair orders as per company policy.
• Work effectively in the shop and on road calls without supervision.
• Complete records in a timely manner in compliance with company rules.
• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor as required.
