The primary purpose of this position is to assemble new products and repair and refurbish customer products.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
- Assemble air compressors, boosters, and other new products. Assembly of products requires welding work.
- Assist in the research and development of new products and projects.
- Support the Service Department with repairs as needed.
- Deliver products to field worksites on occasion via Company truck.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
Work Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Prior welding experience.
- Familiarity with and ability to read blueprints.
- Must pass a DOT physical, possess a valid driver's license, and meet the age and driver‑history requirements specified by company insurance to drive company vehicles.

- Operate hand tools, welding equipment, grinders, drills, saws, and metalworking equipment.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and push and pull up to 100 pounds.
- Required to stand for extended periods.
- Must drive a truck to off‑site work locations and may require periodic overnight travel at off‑site locations.
- Use a computer with a keyboard, telephone or handheld mobile device, and office machinery as needed.
- Must be able to walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Must be able to read, see, hear, and speak.
Work Environment: The work location includes shop setting and off‑site field locations, including outdoor settings. Incumbent will be expected to work on several projects/assignments simultaneously and may need to work outside of core operating hours as requested. Outdoor work will expose incumbent to weather and climate conditions.
