Pape’ Material Handling in Seattle, WA is hiring a Shop Technician to work on material handling and construction equipment in the shop, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely. You will diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to maximize uptime for customers.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication work may be required for certain repairs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Shop Technician, you will work on all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment in the shop ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely. All your hard work is geared toward supporting our customers and maximizing their uptime.

Each day, you will inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures, followed by executing necessary repairs or component replacements. This may include rebuilding or replacing complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and/or steering mechanisms. Additionally, welding and fabrication work may be required as part of certain repairs.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Compensation: $28-48/hr (Depending on Experience)
