Arizona Truck AC & Repair LLC is seeking a skilled Shop Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks in a fast-paced shop. You will work on diesel engines, braking and electrical systems, and drive trains while ensuring safety and quality workmanship.

The role requires strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to document work clearly. CDL is preferred but not required; ASE/OEM training is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in heavy-duty or diesel repair.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities are required.
  • Experience with diesel engines, braking systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • CDL preferred but not required.
  • Relevant ASE or OEM training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, and drivetrains.
  • Inspect equipment and identify issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete repairs to company standards and manufacturer specs.
  • Document work performed, including parts and labor time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and DOT regulations.
  • Collaborate with team to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
  • Assist with inspections and preventive maintenance programs.

Position Overview

The Shop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a fast-paced shop environment. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, and drivetrains
